It’s all change on the Playa d’en Bossa seafront as this winter, for the first time since we can remember, our favourite out of season bolthole Tanit Beach Ibiza will be shutting its doors. But to make sure we don’t lose our mind in a panic about where to get our wintery seaside fix, the Nassau Group is kindly leaving sister venue Nassau Beach Club open this year instead. Before that, though, both venues are celebrating the end of another successful summer with two sizzling seasonal closing parties!
On Sunday, October 14th, Tanit Beach Ibiza is set to bow out in style with a final beachfront fiesta manned by DJ Abel and the Melon Bomb crew. The Melon Bomb boys are, of course, no strangers to the stylish venue, having packed out the beach club with their funky concept on a number of occasions this summer and in previous years. Make the most of your final taste of Tanit Beach and reserve yourself a table for lunch with your nearest and dearest, before dancing off the calories to the uplifting house music sounds of Paul Reynolds, Scott Gray, Corbi and Ben Santiago.
Two weeks later, Nassau Beach Club follows suit with its own seasonal closing extravaganza on Saturday, October 27th. Renowned for its glamorous and vibrant seaside soirees, there’s one last dance on the sands to be enjoyed before the venue switches into a calmer winter gear. A fine musical programme awaits, with Nassau regulars Abel Pons, Miguel Garji, David Crops and Tom Pool all billed to take to the decks. As always, plenty of scintillating surprises await…
From then on, Nassau Beach Club will remain open from Wednesday to Sundays until the 12th of January 2019. On weekdays, guests can enjoy a fabulous three-course menu for 25 Euros per head, while on Saturdays and Sundays the venue’s full a la carte offering is available. That’s our hibernation months sorted, then!
