If you’re planning luxury shopping trip in Ibiza, Kurru Kurru should be your first port of call. Elegance, sexiness and romantic fashion are all catered for by founder Marinela and her team. So, no need for long, hot and sweaty days trawling around the shops. From the dress to the shoes to the accessories, Kurru Kurru stocks everything covered for that special date in your diary.
The story of Kurru Kurru is as impressive as the collections themselves. After studying Fashion Design in Miami, designer Marinela Cifteli found huge success following the Miami Funkshion Week 2008. Just a few months later, she had earned enough money to fulfil her dream and open the first Kurru Kurru store in Ibiza. Since 2014, the glamorous boutique in Marina Botafoch has been the number one choice for unique Ibiza style collections. As well as Marinela’s own creations and those of other talented local designers, it also offers renowned brands such as Lazul London, Nialaya, Perla Principessa, Sumarie, Virginia, Macari, Yangzom, Friendly Hunting and la Nobila.
Kurru Kurru takes influences from Ibiza and around the world. The Kurru Kurru Biolection is not just a trademark, but a lifestyle choice. Biological materials and vegan prints handcrafted in Europe for reasonable salaries are the fundament of exquisite Haute Couture designs in a high-class quality. The pieces are created and crafted in Ibiza in order to maintain the magical ambience of the island and reflect its multicultural influences during the process. Also very valued is the 24-hour SOS party service, which includes a full styling service in your hotel room – just in case sartorial panic sets in and your mindset turns to the dreaded, “Oh my God, I have nothing to wear…“
For 2017 Kurru Kurru welcomes a new outlet on the beach. In collaboration with the elegant Cotton Beach Club, the Cotton Lifestyle Store by Kurru Kurru, is now open. The branch features international designers from London’s famous shopping destination Harrods and its German equivalent, the KaDeWe, as well as some excellent local offerings. Following their on-going success, Kurru Kurru has also moved to a bigger showroom for 2017 located within the grounds of Pau Brazil restaurant on the road to Santa Gertrudis. It’s open for private shopping appointments during the day and welcomes the public from 20.00 to 24.00. Private shopping can be delivered to your home or hotel room on a 24/7 basis. The service can include styling and make up if requested.
