The series of potentially life-changing events begins on March 8th, with a transformational learning retreat by coach Nina Fisher for those who wish to unleash the full potential of their brain, mind and body. The holistic program combines exercises, lectures, tools, experiences and self-learning, which will be translated into a practical individual framework for sustainable and effective application into daily life. The following week, acclaimed Berlin-based yogi Steph Jaksch will lead a three-day yoga retreat at Sir Joan, beginning on March 15th. During this intimate getaway, participants will get focused attention, learn new techniques and deepen their practice while unplugging and recovering from the stresses of the modern world. Combined with the sun and the energy of Ibiza in spring, get your first dose of Vitamin D and return home re-energised and happy. Sir Joan’s retreat series continues with Meditation + Energy Healing on April 5th, where guests will tap into a higher level of consciousness with Millana Snow. In this transformational retreat, participants will learn self-healing tools to go deeper within through daily mediation, mindful practices, and energy healing. The getaway includes individual and group sessions and is suitable for meditation beginners to more experienced practitioners. Starting on April 12th, budding photographers and experienced shutterbugs will jump at the chance to learn from world-class photographer and artist Ivo von Renner during a weekend that exposes The Other Side Of Ibiza. Ivo will share his secrets and teach participants how to use the island’s incredible but always different light in unusual locations. Assisted by a make-up artist and professional equipment, guests will take their own portraits of fellow participants on the latest camera equipment provided by Leica. Leave this creative and team-building workshop with wonderful images and a few precious prints for your portfolio.
Sporty outdoor types and foodies will enjoy the Hook & Cook Fishing Retreat with fishing expert Michael Standor from April 19th – 22nd, where they will not only learn a wealth of knowledge about local seafood and fishing in the Balearic sea, but also how to prepare and cook their catch in Sir Joan’s professional kitchen. And on April 26th, yoga guru Chantal Soeters wants to share the the joy of a ‘present’ life unlocked through the practice of yoga with you. The four-day retreat will use techniques such as meditation, intention setting, silent walking and, of course, yoga, to de-stress and slown down while learning how to focus on the here and now.
