Sublimotion, dubbed as the most expensive restaurant in the world, is well-hidden in Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza: to reach this unique space where avant-guarde cuisine meets the highest technologies, you need to be guided through a secret entrance.
Once there, you find yourself in a room with mind-blowing audiovisual setting, equipped by 360 degree screens of over 50,000 lumens and 7 million pixels – all for the sake of taking you on a gastronomic journey around the world without actually leaving Playa d’en Bossa. You’ll travel to the depths of the sea, share a paella on a shore, enjoy barbecue with friends, take a walk in an oriental garden and visit the North Pole without rising from your own chair.
The musical ambiance for every episode of the escapade will depend on the scents, and the temperature will be controlled by the screens. All meals here are interactive: plates levitating in the air won’t be the biggest miracle you witness, and you will be able to paint your own dessert, literally. After dinner, feel free to carry on with drinks and talks on the 250m² private terrace.
Sublimotion has just one table that sits 12 gourmands – while it takes twice as many professionals (chefs, waiters, sommeliers, musicians, illusionists and technicians) to man the 3-hours-long state-of-art gastronomic performance. This project, where the culinary art is taken to unprecedented heights, was conceived by the renowned chef Paco Roncero, awarded with 2 Michelin stars and 3 Soles Repsol.
