As one of the most renowned luxury brands in the world across both the hospitality and gastronomy industries, the arrival of Nobu Hotel’s White Isle branch in Talamanca, named Ibiza Bay, made a splash in 2017. Opening its doors relatively late in the summer, this year the chic property – a member of the internationally recognised Small Luxury Hotels of the World – is all set for its first full season in Ibiza, reopening its doors on the 4th May 2018.

Featuring a natural colour palette of white, gold and blue complemented by commissioned artwork by local and internationally renowned artists, the overall effect of the five-star property is one of understated and effortless luxury across all its rooms. New for 2018, selected suites including the Royal and Presidential Suites now boast rooftop Jacuzzis and sundecks. Meanwhile, the heavenly Ibiza Bay Spa by Six Senses will introduce its visiting practitioners’ series, with experts in Reiki, Ayurveda, detox and rejuvenation offering workshops and specialised treatments, as well as its menu of restorative massages, high-performance facials and nourishing body treatments by Subtle Energies. The renowned John Frieda Salons also returns to Ibiza Bay this year, with a new blow-dry menu inspired by the island.

As a lifestyle brand that is renowned all over the world, Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay of course offers its guests and outside visitors a show-stopping and varied culinary variety with exciting new menus and ‘eat anytime’ hours. Headed up by Chef Giacomo Notarbartolo, the flagship Nobu restaurant will now be open for lunch, with a new all-day dining menu featuring bento boxes, signature salads and colourful plates of sushi and sashimi. Mexican eatery Peyotito also returns with its contemporary and refined take on the fiery cuisine, an extensive cocktail list and famed Margaritas. Gluten-free café Celicioso continues to serve up nourishing juices, superfood salads and deliciously wholesome cuisine, while Chambao beach chiringuito will welcome guests from midday until dusk for a relaxed meal just steps away from the sea. Specialities include freshly grilled fish, authentic Valencian paella and jugs of sangria, with a new children’s menu catering to little ones.

Speaking of the younger guests, the hotel’s Ibiza Bay Kid’s Club will once again look after children between the ages of four to fourteen, offering a vast programme of exciting educational and entertaining activities such as fancy dress parties, mother/daughter braids by John Frieda Salons, jewellery-making, sushi classes at Nobu and DJ workshops. Teaching the little ones about the local environment while encouraging creativity, arts and crafts lessons using repurposed material from the beach will give budding artists an opportunity to express themselves.
