All winter long, glamorous Ibiza Town eatery La Imprenta has kept us well fed and entertained with its imaginative dining experiences, providing a decadent bolthole to escape to from the cold and dark and enjoy the spectacular cuisine and theatrical ambience. And now that we are heading into spring, it’s time to get out of hibernation mode and shake off any remaining winter blues with a little music, as there are only two weeks left to enjoy the venue’s Jueves Musicales event.
On Thursday, March 8th, and Thursday, March 15th, La Imprenta is inviting guests to come and join a vibrant evening fuelled by the infectious sound of the ‘pin-up era’ that includes rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, swing and boogie from 18.30 onwards. The elegant eatery’s signature Spanish and French fusion cuisine, expertly crafted cocktails and carefully curated wine selection complete an opulent and immersive evening.
It’s hard to believe that the beautiful dining destination in the heart of Ibiza Town is only entering its second year, having firmly established itself as a jewel in the island’s culinary crown since it opened its doors in the summer of 2017. Part of the renowned Amar Ibiza Group, the restaurant combines the brand’s signature creative approach to hospitality, attention to detail, a keen eye for design and, of course, outstanding service and spectacular food.
The glamorous concept found its home in the former printing factory of respected island publication Diario de Ibiza, an important part of the island’s history and culture. Lovingly restored to a sumptuous retro effect, La Imprenta combines the glamour of a Venetian palace with many details that pay tribute to the building’s past, quirky touches like the metal plates that look like the printing blocks of the Diario’s frontpage.
Meanwhile, the kitchen team has created a luxurious menu that offers Spanish cuisine with a French twist, and vice versa. Guests might feast on treats such as creamy foie gras spheres infused with apple and white wine essence, skate fish dressed in butter sauce and capers or duck and foie gras paella – an absolute must try! Combined with the lively and infectious music of the ‘60s, Thursdays at La Imprenta ring in the weekend early and with a lot of style.
