If you appreciate the finer things in life, like the billowing sails of a majestic boat, the carefully crafted curves of a classic car or the adrenaline thrill of riding a daredevil motorbike, then mark April 29th in your diary, when Ibiza Classics Day welcomes connoisseurs of all things vintage and wonderful. Held in the glamorous surroundings of the yacht harbour in Marina Botafoch, come and marvel at perfectly maintained boats, cars and bikes with the sun on your face and the sea breeze in your hair.
The exhibition opens to the public from 15.00 and admission is free, but you will have to hold on tightly to your credit card nonetheless and try not to make any impulse buys as you revel in the beauty of masterful craftsmanship and a hint of nostalgia. The main tent with a bar will be hosted by Domus Nova and cater for refreshments, while a Café Garden and children’s area welcome those who want to take a little break or entertain little visitors.
From 15.00 a local market and regatta village invite you to have a look around and peruse the stalls, with a prize giving ceremony at 19.00 ending the daytime activities before guests gather for the closing party. The event is hosted by White Island Classics, Ibiza’s first classic yacht regatta, and we guarantee you will be leaving with a yearning for the wild seas and open roads in your heart.
