Often described as a ‘playground for adults’, from stunning beaches with crystal waters to a thriving wellness industry, glamorous beach clubs and adrenaline-fuelled water sports to fine dining experiences and socialising amongst the IT crowd – Ibiza has got it all.

We have put together a list of the activities, sights and experiences not to be missed on the White Isle in 2018. By no means exhaustive, make sure to check back as we will add to it as hot new openings and events are announced.

Make A Trip To Cloud Nine
The only time you usually get to see Ibiza from above is when you jet in and – sob – out again. But did you know that you can enjoy breath-taking views on the island at a slower pace? Ibiza En Globo offers romantic hot air balloon rides for two people and groups of up to six, starting from 600 Euros. The experience begins early in the morning in the golden glow of sunrise and lasts around three hours. Transfers, a ‘Baptism of the Air’ with cava, breakfast and a flight certificate are all included with the 45-55 minute flight. A truly special and magical moment you won’t forget!

Yoga At Aiyanna Ibiza
Overlooking the dazzling waters of Cala Nova, the boho chic Aiyanna Ibiza beach club – part of the renowned Amante Ibiza – was one of 2017’s most popular new openings. The venue offers morning yoga sessions on its beach-facing terrace twice a week, followed by a healthy brunch. It’s one of the best ways to start your day on the White Isle.

Visit Formentera
There is nothing quite like taking out a beautiful boat with your nearest and dearest and flying across the azure waters of the Balearics. And jetting over to neighbouring island Formentera with its white, sandy beaches and crystal clear sea remains one of the experiences that should top your must-do list. The young and passionate Smart Charter Ibiza crew not only provides a sleek vessel for every group size, budget and occasion, they also know plenty of secret coves, trendy beach restaurants and unique sights that they love to share with clients depending on what their heart desires.

Champagne Brunch at Cotton Beach
We never need an excuse to drop into the simply stunning Cotton Beach Club, which offers some of the most breath-taking views on the island. Add to that delicious food, funky house music and free-flowing champagne, and it’s no surprise that the venue’s weekly champagne brunch is one of the hottest tickets on the island. Sip on crisp bubbles, tuck into a variety of Mediterranean treats and sushi, let the laid-back beats drift into your ear and have a little boogie.

Beach And Beats At Blue Marlin Ibiza
Blue Marlin Ibiza really needs no introduction to the discerning White Isle visitor – year after year the glamorous venue shows us again just how incredible a day spent at the chic beach club is. From the comfortable day beds to the impeccable service and divine food, the stylish crowd and, of course, the expertly curated music programming, it is the ultimate Ibiza experience. Last year saw some of the hottest international DJ talent take over the outdoor booth to provide the soundtrack for a dance underneath the stars – and we are sure this year will be no different.

A Sunset With A Difference
Ibiza is, of course, not short of incredible sunset spots. But two of our favourite insider tips that take you away from the bustling crowds wow with a more intimate and tranquil ambience. Black Diamond Agency offers a fun Sunset Jeep Tour that will take you to some of the White Isle’s hidden spots, where you can enjoy exciting activities such as cliff jumping and marvel at the island’s stunning nature before watching the fireball sink into the sea with a glass of bubbly from the top of Ibiza’s highest mountain. If you like to enjoy your sunset with an expertly mixed cocktail and a mouth-watering meal, then head to Hostal La Torre, a restaurant and bar that dazzles with vast and unspoilt views on the natural spectacle. Add to that the finest in Balearic beats and a menu filled with authentic Mediterranean treats, and you’ll feel on top of the world.

Dine In Style In Dalt Vila
Ibiza Town’s UNESCO World Heritage site Dalt Vila is a spectacular destination in its own right, however, in recent years it has enjoyed an influx of gourmet restaurants that offer a unique dining experience amidst the ancient walls of the fortress. Recently named one of the ‘most beautiful restaurants in the world’, El Portalon wows with authentic Mediterranean cuisine crafted from strictly organic, island-grown produce. Es Mirador, located in the regal five star Hotel Mirador De Dalt Vila, offers an elegant and imaginative dining experience and a tasting menu that will have you talking about it for days – if not years – after. Meanwhile, the quirky charm of La Dispensa is completed with mouth-watering Italian, Spanish and sushi creations.

Glamour, Good Food & Games At Ibiza Gran Hotel
For an evening of sophisticated cool look no further than the sleek and chic Ibiza Gran Hotel in Marina Botafoch. Start your night at Japeruvian cuisine temple La Gaia, where you can feast on expertly mixed cocktails and head chef Oscar Molina’s incredible Japanese and Peruvian fusion creations. Continue on to the Casino De Ibiza, which forms part of the five star property, and try your luck at American Roulette, Black Jack or Texas Hold’em Poker.

Watch The Full Moon at Nassau Beach Ibiza
If you are lucky enough to visit the island during a full moon, there is no better place to watch the silver planet rise out of the waters than Nassau Beach Ibiza. Taking pole position on the long stretch of sand that is Playa d’en Bossa, the stylish beach restaurant offers mouth-watering Mediterranean and Asian fare, as well as an imaginative cocktail menu. Dine by the waterfront and enjoy the perfect soundtrack spun by Nassau’s resident DJs while watching the huge moon illuminate the night sky.

Dine & Dance At HEART Ibiza
Another spectacular experience that takes you straight from dinner to dance floor – should you so desire – is HEART Ibiza. A joint project between the renowned Adrià brothers and Cirque Du Soleil founder Guy La Liberte, you enjoy a haute cuisine dinner created with incredible creativity while watching a spectacular show that fuses music, acrobatics and humorous performances. After dessert, the state-of-the-art venue turns into a nightclub known for its edgy and alternative parties featuring the finest DJ talent from all over the world.
